Alright, so this question can be answered in many parts.
We’ll start as much as the rest of the world does and discuss physically why Amanda is one of the most perfect women alive. She’s beautiful, she really is, in a subtle ‘doesn’t rub it in your face and make you want to peel off your own skin’ way. She’s got the most expressive eyes I’ve ever seen on a person ever, and the most beautiful smile. Seriously, her smile could melt ice, it’s so warm and lovely. She’s one of the lucky people who remains beautiful as she gets older, getting more beautiful if anything. She’s radiant, actually, and it doesn’t come across in photos. I found that I was unprepared for how pretty this woman actually was, and it took me by surprise when I first met her. The best thing about her face, I find, is that the more you get to know her, the more her personality shines from it until everything about her is just perfect.
Now, beyond looks, her acting talent is like nothing I have seen in a while. She has the ability to completely embody any character she takes on and surpasses any expectations you might have of her. I’ve seen her in a hell of a lot of things and in every one, she has never let me down. She has the skill to be able to do almost any accent, fit in to any ‘class’ and draw any emotion from you that the script calls for. She’s truly remarkable and completely underrated. I honestly have no idea why she’s not much more famous because she has acting skills that very few actresses manage to possess.
She’s one of the best type of people. She’s loving, and caring, beyond what is required of her. She’s genuine and funny and manages to brighten my day with the simplest of messages. She’s a true believer of spreading positivity, and avoiding negativity and she’s made that clear on several occasions. She’s even forgiving of the idiots who give her a hard time on twitter when they eventually apologise.
On a much more personal level, she’s been there for me this year more than anyone else, and I’ll always love her for that. I don’t really have a lot to offer someone like Amanda, someone who’s so lovely and brilliant that they tend to outshine everyone else, so I give her what I can - my endless love and support and, truly, I have so much love for this woman that it’s unreal. She’s not my best friend, but she is the best of my friends, and honestly, at this stage in my life, I’d be lost without her.
